The Greenville County Recreation District hosted its first Juneteenth Celebration on Saturday, June 16 at Sterling Community Center. The festival celebrated the roots of the African-American community with a history and heritage showcase of African-American life in Greenville, local talent, fashion, health fair, storyteller, children’s area, and vendors.
